We all get asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Some people know right away, but for me, it was a journey. One thing was always clear, though: I was drawn to beauty. I loved watching my mom do her makeup, flipping through Vogue covers, and checking out the same Bobbi Brown book from the library over and over. Makeup felt like magic–it could instantly boost someone’s confidence and change their whole vibe,
After years of practicing, I took the leap and started my professional journey in 2009. I’ve had the chance to work on some amazing projects! But growing up in a traditional family, I was always encouraged to choose a “practical” path, So, I kept makeup as my side passion while also working in nursing and science.

Then the pandemic hit, and nursing became overwhelming. I felt burnt out and disconnected from the impact I wanted to make. Even after switching specialties, I missed having a creative outlet. Everything changed in 2022 when a coworker asked me to do her wedding makeup. That day was a turning point. Being part of her big moment, helping her feel her best, reminded me why I loved this work so much. It was pure joy -a total contrast to the tough days in nursing.

For the first time, I was leading the day with my own vision and experience. It was both nerve-wracking and exciting, but I couldn’t ignore how right it felt. I| started to let myself dream bigger, and that’s how Red Carpet Ready Beauty was born. In 2023. I went all in-and I haven’t looked back.

Now, I get to wake up every day and do what I love: empower people and help them feel beautiful. Every client I meet adds something special to my journey. I’m proud of what I’ve built and excited to keep growing and sharing this passion with even more amazing people. When you love what you do, it really doesn’t feel like work–it feels like living your dream.
